Emily Browning joins “Summer in February” cast, replacing Ophelia Lovibond
Production on Jonathan Smith’s “Summer In February” began last week, but in a last minute change, Emily Browning has replaced British actress Ophelia Lovibond in the leading female role. Also starring Dominic Cooper and Dan Stevens, the film has been adapted from the novel of the same name by Smith, and is a “love triangle set at an Edwardian artists’ colony on the Cornish coast of England in the early 20th century”, following Alfred Munnings (Cooper) and his best friend Gilbert (Stevens) as fall in love with the same girl. Variety’s report doesn’t explain why Browning has taken over from Lovibond, but this is another good coup for Browning whose 2012 is shaping up to be a busy year. The Australian thesp has indie thriller “Magic Magic” with Michael Cera and Juno Temple due out this year, and is also starring in the screwball comedy Cassy and Jude.

P.S. i love you. you, you, you. haha, just kidding, i love that song. so hey there stranger. i was really kind of joking about this to poke fun at how we haven’t shared more than a paragraph in almost two weeks. we really aren’t close at all any more. i guess i’ll start with me. i’ve been working and hanging out with bryan. nothing really interesting here. i want you to divulge. tell me everything about uil. i’m sure it’s cool so just let me know how that’s going. i’ve gotten pretty crazy into the beatles the past few days. i downloaded everything from 1963-2001. one thing i thought about tonight, you said before that you don’t really know what to think of that “luvvy duvvy” stuff. my sweet little messages and whatnot, but you really do. that bottle gift was the single most thoughtful gift i’ve ever recieved. i love that hannah. try to remember what it was that brought out that side of you. i want to see a lot more of that hannah. you really can be sweeter than anyone i know. you just don’t let yourself because you may find it awkward you’re a beautiful person. why don’t you show it often? you’re perfect, is where i was going with that i guess. anyway, this crazy “space” thing may be something you do, but it don’t work none for me, we’ll get imaginative if we have to, but i need to see you more. we have this b-day time we don’t exploit. just let me know if you need the time for someone else. and finally, i feel like i need to validate something, the way i talk or act sometimes may send the wrong message. i just want you to know that i have no intention of trying to sleep with you or anything in between. i know i joke alot, but i respect you too much to do that. even if you wanted to (purely hypothetical), i still don’t think i would. i wouldn’t respect you, or at least i wouldn’t feel like it. i just felt that needed clarification due to my excessive humor. i do love your body, but strictly for trophy and observational purposes, lol.
